George Mason University (Fairfax campus) is located in Fairfax, Virginia, USA, which is a suburb of Washington, DC. The area is served by two airports: Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA), each about 30 minutes drive from Fairfax. Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is also an option, although it is about 45 minutes longer drive from Fairfax. National train service by Amtrak has a major hub at Union Station in downtown Washington, DC where there is also a Metro station.
