The International Climate of the 20th Century project organized a special three-part session of the 20th Conference on Climate Variability and Change (CVC), sponsored by the American Meteorological Society, and organized by the AMS Committee on Climate Variability and Change, which was held 22-23 January 2008, as part of the 88th AMS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. The call for papers resulted in a very interesting program spread over three sessions. The extended abstracts and recordings of the presentations are available from the AMS:
