Visa Information

All visitors to Australia who are not Australian citizens or from New Zealand will need to obtain a visa before they arrive. For most participants, this application can be done online and is straightforward. Participants from other countries, including from South America, Central America and China, will need to apply for a Business Visitor visa either online or through the Australian embassy in their country. They will need a letter of invitation which can be provided by the conference organisers.

If you need an invitation letter from the conference organisers to arrange your travel visa to Australia, please send an email request to Professor David Karoly at the University of Melbourne (dkaroly at unimelb dot edu dot au). You will be sent an letter of invitation on official letterhead via email within one week.
